Emerge. Evolve. Embody.
Cicada Collective is a growing community of seekers, meditators, and practitioners gathering to share experiences rooted in Vedic wisdom. We explore the rhythms of rest, reflection, and reconnection through practices such as meditation, yoga, and contemplative study. Cicada Collective offers a space to grow in awareness, deepen in practice, and reconnect - with self, nature, and one another.
Cicadas remind us that deep transformation happens beneath the surface. They live underground for years, silent, unseen, slowly growing, until it’s time to emerge, shed, and sing. Their life cycle is a rhythm of rest and revelation, of patience and powerful release.
We chose the name Cicada Collective because it honors the wisdom of slow unfolding, of trusting the inner work we can’t always see, and of coming into community when the time is right. Like cicadas, we gather in chorus—not to compete, but to resonate. Not to rush, but to rise in rhythm.
Cicadas teach us that emergence is sacred. So is retreat. And we need both.
Vedic wisdom comes from the ancient spiritual teachings of India, known as the Vedas, Upanishads, the Bhagavad Gita, the Yoga Sutras, plus the Ramayana and Mahabharata. These texts are thousands of years old and offer practical guidance on how to live a balanced, meaningful life. They explore big questions—like who we are, why we’re here, and how to find lasting peace and happiness. Vedic wisdom includes insights on meditation, self-awareness, the rhythms of nature, and how to live in harmony with the world around us. While rooted in tradition, its messages are timeless and can support modern well-being, no matter your background.
